Flat Ironing.
ive only flat ironed my hair about once since ive been natural, and it surely wasnt a great experience, since:
1.) i was so worried about my little curlies being forever straight. that i was super cautious.
2.) it didnt really get straight, it was more poofy and yadda.
3.) i dont really like straight hair.
A follower asked about flat ironing tips, and I am not really the right person to ask for advice on flat ironing tips, etc. but im doing research to see if i can find some sound sources of naturals who flat iron with success.

what usually works for me is to use carol’s daughters hair butter and allow my hair to air dry without styling it in any way. Then when it’s dry I use a pomade type product and apply that to my ends before I run the flatiron over my hair. sometimes i don’t need much of the pomade product because carol’s daughters usually does a good job of moisturizing my hair.
thank you for your contribution! i also want to add, that the best thing to put on your hair before anything else is a heat protect-ant. to prevent heat damage, and burning.
